Terms of service

These terms cover this website and the ways you can reach Smart Phone Fix through it: asking for a quote, booking an appointment, and getting texts and emails from us. They are short on purpose. If anything here is unclear, call us and ask.
1. What this site is
This is the website of Smart Phone Fix. In these terms, we, us and our mean Smart Phone Fix, and you means the person using the site or asking us for work. Use the site to see what we do, ask for a quote, and book a time. By using it, you agree to these terms.
Some of what runs this site, such as the hosting, the booking calendar, and the texts and emails we send, is handled by service providers who work on our behalf. They act only on our instructions and only to do that work for us.
2. Quotes are estimates
A quote is our best estimate from what you tell us and what we can see. It is not a final bill. If the job turns out different from what was described once we are on site, the price can change, and we tell you before doing any extra work. A quote is good for the period written on it.
3. Appointments
You can book through this site or by calling us. We confirm the appointment and remind you before it by text if you agreed to texts on our quote form or booking page, and by email if you did not. If you need to cancel or move an appointment, tell us as early as you can, and at least 24 hours ahead when possible, so we can offer the time to someone else. Some jobs carry a trip charge or a deposit. If yours does, it is on the quote before you book. If we ever have to move your appointment, we tell you as soon as we know and find you a new time.
4. Paying for the work
The price is on your quote or invoice. Payment is due when the work is done unless your quote says otherwise. If a job needs a deposit, the deposit comes off the final bill. Invoices and payment receipts come by email, and by text only if you agreed to texts. Each invoice lists the ways you can pay. If you have a question about a charge, tell us before the due date and we will sort it out with you. Any warranty on the work is written on the quote or invoice for that job.
5. Text messages
Program name. Smart Phone Fix Text Updates.
What the messages are. If you gave us your cell number and checked the first box on our quote form or the box on our booking page, we text you about your request or your booking: replies to your questions, scheduling, appointment confirmations, reminders, updates about the work, and a request for a review after the job. If you call us and we cannot pick up, our voicemail greeting ends with this notice: “If we missed your call, we will text you at this number in a minute. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.” We then send one text to the number you called from so you can reach us faster, and nothing further unless you write back. Some of these messages are sent automatically by an automated dialing system.
Offers. If you also checked the second box on our quote form, we send you offers: specials, seasonal offers, discounts, and news about our services. That box is optional. Agreeing to texts of either kind is never required to get a quote, to book, or to buy anything from us.
How many. Expect up to 10 automatic messages for each request or booking you make. If you said yes to offers, expect up to 6 automatic offer messages a month. Replies to messages you send us do not count toward either number. Message and data rates may apply.
When. Offers go out between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. local time. A message that answers something you just did, such as a missed call or a form you sent, goes out when it happens.
Who can sign up. You must be 18 or older to sign up for these texts.
To stop. Reply STOP to any message and the messages stop. You get one text confirming that, and nothing after it. You do not have to use STOP. You can also call us at (727) 777-5217 or email smartphonefix04@gmail.com and tell us to stop, and we take you off the list.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not share your mobile number, your text opt-in, or your consent record with anyone for their own marketing. Our Privacy Policy has the details.
6. Reviews
After a job we may ask you for a review by email, and by text if you agreed to texts. We ask every customer. We do not screen who gets asked, and we do not ask how you feel before deciding whether to ask. Nobody is paid, discounted, or given anything for a review. Say what you honestly think.
7. Your information
What we collect and how we handle it is in our Privacy Policy. The short version: we use what you give us to answer you, do the work, and bill for it. We do not sell it.
8. Using this site
Use the site for what it is for: learning about us, asking for a quote, and booking. Give us true information and your own phone number, not someone else's. Do not post anything abusive, and do not try to break into, copy, or overload the site. The words, photos, and design on this site are ours or used with permission, and they are not for reuse without asking us first.
9. What we are responsible for, and what we are not
We stand behind our work. What we owe you on a job is on that job's quote or invoice, and nothing on this page takes away rights the law gives you.
This website is provided as is. We try to keep it accurate and available, and we do not promise it will never be down or never have a mistake on it. We are not responsible for services other companies provide that this site depends on, including phone carriers, hosting, and payment processing. To the extent the law allows, our liability for anything arising from this website is limited to what you paid us for the work in question, and neither of us is liable to the other for indirect losses such as lost time or lost business.
10. Changes to these terms
We can change these terms. When we do, the version number and the effective date at the top change, and the current version is always on this page. Using the site after a change means you accept it.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. If any part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
